Back on the road again!

OK, folks.

Yes, it's that time of year again - time to depart the shores of fair old Aussie land and see what's going on in the far off but not so foreign lands, once more.

I'm gonna be in Europe for 2 months, visiting the Klangbad Festival in the south of Germany, and putting together a film on it with my friend Beck, in Berlin.

Then I'll be in the USA again, trawling for guitars and so forth, as a lad must do when possible...

First port of call was Passau to visit my old mate Monika for the weekend..

A highlight was visiting the second hand and antique shops, and checking out the old German wares..

Also, the cathedral was notable, containing apparently the largest pipe organ in Europe, or some such. I was thinking of taking it home for my brother Murray, who's quite partial to a nice keyboard instrument, but I've got a long way to go and it would probably blow out my carry-on baggage limit.. (sorry Muz)

Thanks Monika Maus for the welcome to Germany...
