Well, after a few hic-ups and false starts in the lead up, Heather and I got on the road and headed up the coastal route from LA, through Santa Monica & Malibu, etc, and onwards up towards Santa Barbara where I was eagerly awaiting my planned tour of the Seymour Duncan pickup factory.
A highlight of this first leg was this superbly decorated petrol stop, just off the highway, with a gnarly collection of animals heads mounted up on the wall. Nice!
